Live.Love.LIFE

I'm back from my trip to HongKong and US. This is the last trip to end my year.. it was simply AWESOME!

Being able to travel around allows me to see, experience and live the culture outside of Singapore. Guess I'm in the stage of experiencing what living a life really means. It's more than just having a 9-5 job, having a stable income, having a house, having more than enough in live (all these are important)... but being/staying happy of life itself.

Too many thoughts to pen down for this year & too many experience to share.. but one thing I know - This is my life and I will live it well. Are you sick and tired of being conformed to what others thought about you? Are you constantly feeling frustrated about things around you? Then it's time for a change. A change to experience the fullness of what live means to you.

Change are painful, but resisting change makes your life even more frustrating. Learn to embrace change and it might return you a favor. Be it good or bad, you are the one to determine the results.

As the year is coming to an end, I'm planning for some major change in life for the new year. No matter what it turns out to be, always remember to Live.Love - the life that you are living.

Hello from HK!

Hi there! Apologies for the missing in action part. Am currently in HK and it has been great but tiring. I'm expecting a colder weather here in Hong Kong but much to my disappointment, the coldest is only 19 degrees and it's raining most of the time. >.<"

But despite the bad weather, I've got time walk around and taste awesome dim sum.The last time I've been to HK was 6 years ago.. It was so long ago... The only difference I've felt between then and now is... It is soooo crowded now in HK! I don't remember seeing or experiencing such crowd last time I were here. It's bad enough to have me thinking of not going out to the central area at night. Anyway, I am still enjoying my stay here. Will be here for another few days before I proceed on to US! And yes.. I am very excited for my US trip! My virgin trip and I hope to be able to catch some snow :) This will make my trip complete. (Part of my birthday wish is to see snow..... hehe... finger cross... US snow plsss...)

Ok, not much pictures for this trip.. but will upload pics for US for sure! Do check out my FB for more picsss... Will update soon!

PS: I'm already feeling the X'mas mood! Have you started your xmas shopping yet?

I'm back!!

Yes, I'm back from Europe trip. Truly, it has been one of the greatest trip I've ever had. The culture there is so rich and colorful. Simply LOVE it!

I went for a full 2 weeks trip to Spain. Spend one week each in Madrid & Barcelona. Felt that 1 week is just good enough to fully explore and experience the life & the culture in each city. I'm not one that like to 'touch & go' type. That's why I've never signed up for any tour groups before as you can't really experience the fullness of the city you go to.

Some really nice pictures:

(more photos on FB :) )

So what do I like about Spain? I think the main thing that captures me is the rich culture that they have. The people are nice, most of them do not speak fluent English but they are more than willing to provide assistance when we asked for it. I got 'lost' a few times in Barcelona and when I asked for direction, they will try their very best to explain to me the direction needed. So nice of them :) And ohhh... I love the buildings there. Not many high rise building but the details and the built of the buildings are just so pretty! Weather? No need to say much... definitely better than Singapore (hahaha) It's cold and not too dry.. perfect!

One thing I missed back home when I'm there is food! I love western food, but too much of them makes me miss Chinese food somehow. And european loves to eat bread... every dish will come with a basket of bread. And also egg & potatoes.. I think i've not eaten so much egg when I'm in Singapore compared to there. One of the most yummy food is their Paella.. especially the squid ink paella... oh man, it's heavenly. (sorry, no photos... it's so nice that i've forgotten to take a pic) but.. i've a picture of how paella looks like (seafood flavor):

I've done my homework before going to Spain and read alot about the security there. When I'm there, it's really not as bad as I've read. Just stay vigilant at all times and it's fine. It's not as 'scary' as what I've thought would be.

I'm loving the place so much that I don't feel like coming back already!! :p  Shall start planning to visit the rest of Europe next yr. Next up maybe Paris?

Last quarter of 2012

Time flies... and we are into the last quarter of 2012. How have yours been so far? As for me, I'm so excited about things happening for me in the last quarter of my life in 2012!

Firstly, I passed my RES exam! Woohoo... that means I am on my way to be a 'property guru'! Hahaha... I've always wanted to do something related to property. Can't imagine I am really doing this. And thank God I managed to pass the exam at 1 take. Where records shows that most people will fail 1 out of the 2 papers. Phew!  >.<"

The next thing that is happening is I'm going Europe! Yea!!!! One of the country that I always wanted to go! I will spend 2 weeks in Spain (Madrid & Barcelona) I don't know how many of you actually watched the Taiwan drama serial : Meteor Garden? There's this scene where they took in Barcelona, and ever since then, I always wanted to go. And finally, I'm going this weekend! So I will be MIA of 2 weeks and back with lots of nice photos & experience to post about. :)

And my travel does not end here... I will be going HK in Nov for 1 week as well. This will be my 3rd time visiting. Awww... can't wait to eat their tim sum and yum cha and their authentic chinese restaurant. And also to enjoy their niceeee cooling weather in Nov.

And to end off the year 2012, I will be taking my driving test on 27th Dec! I want to pass at 1 take!! (*Praying Hard*) And this will be one of the best gift I can have for Xmas :) So, wait for my good news yea.. (finger cross)

So that's all for now.. Will take lotsa of photos for my Spain trip!

Mooooo....

Just went for a feast at Gyu-Kaku:

They serve really good quality meat! (yum yum!) I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, but reservation is quite full. So need to book in advance in order to secure a place. Even when I went on a Wednesday (which is mid-week) the restaurant is fully booked! I can understand why because 1st of all the restaurant is not very big and 2ndly their food and service is really good.

They specialize in Australia beef and serve different cut of the meat. We decided to their set meal which comprises of different meat (beef, pork, lamb, prawns etc...) There are 2 sets for you to choose:

1) Warai Set
2) Fuku Set

We choose the 1st one for 2 person portion (This picture does not look too good coz it's half eaten already! :p) :

We were too hungry and decide to eat 1st then take picture which resulted in this pic. The portion is good for 2 person and you get to try different cuts and meat. The set meal also includ bibimbap.

I'm in love with their dessert, milk pudding:

It is soft, tasty.. yummm..... The caramel & soy bean powder on top just make this dessert so heavenly. I love it so much that I googled the receipt to make yummy milk pudding.

Not only the food is good, the service is even better. The waiters were all so polite and prompt to our request. (Not like another restaurant in the same area that I've visited... I might blog about it later)

So all in all, good food + good service = worth while dinner

If you would like to have some meat feast, try this restaurant out. But be sure to make reservation and don't try to walk-in (I've tried and was disappointed as it was full)

The branch that I went to is Chijmes:
