Busy....

Had been rather busy past few days and therefore the lack of update in my blog. Been busy with my wedding preparations. So many things and people to confirm and tie down. Just had my Guo Da Li last Saturday and i'm glad that it's finally over :). Lotsa of preparation to be done. Oh and one more thing - i've finally got the new iPad. It's a wedding gift from hubby. :) ~happy. Been using it to play games and surf net, after using that, my iphone seems so small now >.<

Sleeping position

Came across this story on Yahoo! News on the Top 10 cutest sleeping kittens. They are awesomely cute! Cats actually sleep around 13 - 16 hours a day. And most of them nap in the day and become hyper active at night.

Cats can sleep anywhere. I was just walking back from home yesterday and saw this fat cat sleeping in the middle of the pathway. They simply sleep on anything and everything.. from chair to tables to computer desks, window ledge etc.... Some cats like to sleep on an elevated ground as they feel safer on higher grounds. As for both of my cats, Xiao bai likes to sleep on higher grounds while Mika likes to sleep on the floor or sometimes.. on us.. We've become our cat's personal cushion.

Oranges

Yesterday I was sitting at my comfort sofa happily peeling oranges when my 2 cats which were sleeping comfortably besides me suddenly jumps up and off the sofa, wince and bat their eyes and looked at me before walking away grouchily.

So I guess my cats are like most of those that hate the smell of Citrus scent. As cats has very powerful scent of smell, they tend to get very sensitive to strong smell. But not all cats hates it. There are some that actually loves them. Read of cats that like to eat oranges, lemon and juices that contains them. So if you want your cat to stop scratching your furniture, you can consider spraying some Citrus scent spray and it will solve the scratching problem.

Different cats has such different character, that's what makes them so special. :)

Circling around

Recently I realised that xiao bai (my white ragdoll cat) starts to circle around the living hall while I'm watching TV. So i decided to ask my good friend "Google" what's wrong with cat circling around the house. Is there anything wrong with him? While I search, i've got some results:

1) He might be having ear infection that causes this action
2) It might be some neurological disorders happening in his body
3) He might be just bored

I started to recall back how was he behaving for the past few days. He has been eating well, sleeps alot, meow at me as usual, purring when i cuddle him... And he also gained weight. So, I pray that it is not the 2nd cause. Will be checking on his ears when i get back later today, and also, if ears are cleared, I will give him more attention then. :)
