ilovemycats: Back from Korea!!

Hi All, just came back from Korea not too long ago and man... that place is paradise for girls! The facial products are way much cheaper than what we have in Singapore.

Yea.. so I spent 6 days 5 nights in Korea. The weather was good as it is cooling. Though it rained for a 1 or 2 days, but overall, it's still alright.

The hotel that I stayed in is called Hotel The SunBee. It was quite centralize as it is located in Insadong itself. When we 1st arrived, we could not find the hotel as it is ''hidden'' in a corner. But once you know your way around, you will consider this hotel to be in a very good location. It was about 10mins walk from the metro and we got lost on the 1st day we arrived.

As this is my 1st time in Korea, I can say I am very impress with the people there. They are so friendly and helpful. So, we got lost, and we approach a gentleman. And this gentleman was also not too sure where the hotel is located and in turn he went to ask the police (yes, there's a police station nearby). So, in the end, we got 6 people helping us to locate the hotel. I was blown away by their attitude. They can just conveniently say they do not know the place and walked away.. but NO, they help us call the hotel and one of them even walked us to the hotel... talk about nice people... They are really NICE!!

Ok, so after a overnight flight, I am super hungry. We decided to walk along Insadong and find a authentic Korea restaurant...

The side dishes are yummy.. I love the pickles.. :)

So after filling the hungry tummies, we went to once of their palace: Gyeongbokgung Palace

It's about S$3 per entry.. cheap cheap.

So after the palace tour, we went back to walk around in Insadong. They are selling some funny shape ice-cream which has super long Q.. We did not try as the weather is quite cold... so give it a miss.
