Korea - Part 2

Ok.. more photos from the Korea trip.. 1st up... food!!! Lots of them... yummy!

Korea pancake.. one of my fav. They taste different in Singapore, much nicer. But it was not cheap, this cost about S$15.

This nice dish was ordered by accident.. I wanted to order bibimbap, this is also bibimbap but its beansprout bibimbap. Look at the different color of the beansprout.. so beautiful.. this is call - Happy Eating :)

I always wanted to try the authentic ginseng chicken.. and here we are:

These 2 are different soup base.. The clear soup one is much better (2nd pic). The 1st one tasted too thick and strong. They put in one whole chicken in with stuffed glutinous rice. It is not as nice as I thought it was.. but some people swear by their korea ginseng chicken. >.<  This cost about S$20 per chicken.. quite expensive..


This is abalone porridge.. it tasted ok.. not fantastic.. cost about S$10

So after all eating, it's time for some shopping. The most worthy things to buy in Korea is non other than their facial products. Clothes and shoes are not cheap though..

Too cool for school shop.. Basically all their product has very nice packaging & it's somehow related to school theme..

Brought a orange lip stick + lip gloss.. and they give 2 small samples. Facial wash and moisturizer.

Here's the loots (this picture does not show everything I've brought, only part of it)... I was not a skin food fan before I go Korea.. but after this trip.. I'm loving skinfood products.. but.. I will not buy in Singapore.. The price is way too expensive here! For eg: brown sugar face scrub - 300g, it cost S$80 in Singapore, but in Korea I only paid S$16!!! Can you imagine the price difference! So I decided to buy 4 tubes.. (1 of them not shown in the picture because I was using it in Korea :p ) So, I've compared the prices for Faceshop & Skinfood with Singapore and the conclusion is Skinfood has the highest % of savings if you were to buy in Korea compared to Singapore. And like many of us know, they love to give lots of free samples... another plus point.

Another good place to shop will be their Daiso!! They've so many things that Singapore Daiso do no carry. And the Daiso that I went to it's 4 storey! Imagine the happiness on my face :D Most of their stuff are selling at 1000 won which is only S$1.12... CHEAP!!! So I also brought lots of stuff there (heee...)

So now you know why I say Korea is a shopping paradise for ladies. :)
